I’m John Green and this is a showcase for my songs.
Some are written in partnership with Laurie French, who’s been a music friend for many years, and we currently play together in the most excellent Skyline Band! We also like to compose original music and we hope you like some of the examples presented here.
Each song has its own page where (if you're interested!) you can listen to it as well as read the lyrics and also some background notes to the song. Click on the ‘Songs’ link on the left to take you to a main list of songs.
All the recordings were done by me and my home recording studio. All vocals are yours truly except where credited otherwise. I played all the guitar parts and programmed the other instruments with the aid of wonders of modern technology such as synthesisers, drum machines, loops, samples, and specialist software. Although in the final analysis I must take full responsibility for the worthiness or otherwise of the end product!
